The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has increased by 12,464% in the last decade, surpassing even tech behemoths like Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Inc., Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), and Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN). 
Analyst Colin Wu, alias WuBlockchain, published his findings on May 3. In the study, Wu compared Bitcoin’s performance to that of the stocks of the nine biggest tech companies. The data shows that the digital asset is doing very well, which adds to its credibility as an effective investment tool. 
The research found that the most impressive gain was 17,797 percent, achieved by Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), a company known for its cutting-edge graphics processors and semiconductor devices. Coming in second place in such a volatile market is a major accomplishment for Bitcoin, and it shows how much of an impact and potential this asset has in the financial ecosystem. 
The group averaged the price increases of Bitcoin (BTC) and nine big tech companies over the last decade. These companies include Google, META, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Amazon, Netflix, and more. While NVIDIA’s share price increased by 17.797%, BTC’s gain of 12,464% placed it in first place, according to Colin Wu’s report.
