As the Bitcoin halving approaches its conclusion, predictions are continually shifting from analyst to analyst due to geopolitical tensions and the recent release of CPI data in the United States. Recently, analyst Edouard Hindin from Tyr Capital made a significant prediction that the price of Bitcoin might soar to $120,000 soon, despite recent drops. Will BTC hit $120,000? 
However, some traders as well as investors believe Bitcoin is one of the best assets to protect wealth in uncertain times, like now. Edouard Hindin believes Bitcoin could reach $120,000 soon because of global tensions and people wanting to safeguard their money.
Meanwhile, research firm 10x Research, which predicted Bitcoin’s low in 2022 and also forecasted a record surge in the price of cryptocurrencies before the halving, has turned bearish. On April 15, 2024, the research firm published a report named “<a href="https://news.todayq.com/10x-report-we-sold-everything-last-night-whats-in-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">We sold everything last night</a>,” as reported by Todayq News.
Over the weekend, the overall cryptocurrency markets took a hit due to rising tensions between Iran and Israel, along with investors cashing out before the Bitcoin halving event scheduled for April 20, 2024. Some major cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, and others lost up to 18% of their value. However, the uncertainty continued on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, due to concerns about Israel’s response to Iran’s attacks. Investors interest lower in market 
Despite all these incidents, on April 16, 2024, the net inflow for BTC ETFs stood at negative $58 million, continuing a three-day streak of outflows amidst a declining trend in BTC price. This negative inflow shows investors less interest, possibly due to fear of a market fall. Notably, both Grayscale Bitcoin Trust GBTC and BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust IBIT witnessed single-day flows below $100 million. Meanwhile, other Bitcoin ETFs, including ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF ARKB, began showing flows again, with ARKB experiencing an outflow of $12.9 million after three days of no activity.
Some experts say Bitcoin’s short-term performance will determine what happens in the wider cryptocurrency market in the next few weeks. The recent sell-off in US stock markets has made investors cautious globally, and whether the market bounces back or continues to drop will decide its direction for a while.
