The Norwegian government has enacted a new law aimed at reining in the burgeoning industry of crypto mining. The law, disclosed in a report by local news outlet VG on Monday, signals Norway’s resolve to regulate and potentially <a href="https://www.vg.no/nyheter/i/9zgyxq/regjeringen-slaar-ned-mot-krypto-datasenter-uoensket-i-norge?s=08" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">shutter cryptocurrency mining operations</a> within its borders. 
This development comes amidst growing concerns over the environmental impact of crypto mining and the need to align national policies with global climate objectives.
