 The IOTA price has failed to benefit from the recent move by Tenity to launch IOTA APAC Accelerator in Singapore. IOTA collaborated with Tenity to launch the Accelerator as a 12-week program that will empower the next generation of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) pioneers.

 Meanwhile, there is general confusion in the market as altcoins await the next directional bias from Bitcoin with the BTC halving due April 20.
 <h2 id="iota-price-prediction-amid-elevated-risk-in-the-market">IOTA Price Prediction Amid Elevated Risk In The Market</h2>
 IOTA price is trading with a bearish bias, like most altcoins in the cryptocurrency market. Overhead pressure continues to build, seem with the 200, 100, and 50-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), which continue to hover above the IOTA price at $0.2491, 0.2860, and $0.3206 levels respectively.
 The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is also well below the 50 threshold, suggesting the bears are heading the market. This is reinforced by the position of both the Awesome Oscillator (AO) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), which are both in negative territory.
 Enhanced selling pressure could see the IOTA price touch the bottom of the market range at $0.1910 before the altcoin becomes attractive for buying again.

 On the other hand, if the bulls seize the opportunity to buy the dip, the IOTA price could start a recovery. A move above the 200-day SMA at $0.2491 would encourage more buy orders. Increased buying pressure above the said level could see the IOTA price flip the 100-day SMA into support above $0.2860.
 This would set the tone for the altcoin to foray into the higher section of the market range above the 50% Fibonacci placeholder of $0.3055. A decisive candlestick close above this level would draw in more bulls, enough to shatter resistance due to the 50-day SMA at $0.3206.
 In a highly bullish case, the IOTA price could extend a neck higher to the top of the market range at $0.4200. Such a move would constitute a climb of nearly 90% above current levels.
 <h2 id="promising-alternative-to-iota">Promising Alternative To IOTA</h2>
 Meanwhile, investors are shifting their attention to TUK,&nbsp; the native cryptocurrency for the eTukTuk ecosystem.
