<p>While many may have missed out on the massive gains of BRC-20 tokens like $STAMP, which saw a 500x increase, there’s now a new protocol on the horizon that could potentially yield 1000x returns: Runes.</p>

<p>Runes is a new protocol created by Rodarmor, the creator of Ordinals. It aims to address the issue of non-interchangeability (BRC-20) of tokens on Bitcoin by introducing high interchangeability capabilities. The mainnet of the Rune Protocol is expected to launch right after the Bitcoin Halving in April.</p>

<p>Casey, the creator of Runes, has stated that if Runes’ MC doesn’t reach $1B a month after its launch, he will commit seppuku. Given the current hype around Runes and the MC of BRC-20, $1B in the first month seems like an achievable goal, with the potential for further growth much higher than that of BRC-20.</p>
