<p>According to blockchain investor Mark Yusko, the long-term solution may involve multiple interoperable blockchains. "The retail chain isn't any one chain, it's I want to trade whatever I want whenever I want and I'm going to need to use these Bridges," he stated. An ecosystem of connected specialized blockchains could provide the scalability and functionality for blockchain-based finance and computing to go fully mainstream.</p>
<p>This evolution parallels how the internet built on TCP/IP enabled interconnected networks. But blockchain networks have a key advantage - they establish authoritative ownership and transfer of digital assets without counterparty risk. This "Internet of Value" has grabbed the attention of financial giants like BlackRock who are tokenizing funds on Ethereum.</p>
<p>While regulatory hurdles remain, 2024 may be a pivotal year as the financialization of crypto assets like Bitcoin ETFs creates demand for blockchain scalability solutions. The future of finance and computing is becoming a multi-chain reality built on the truth and digital property rights ensured by distributed blockchain networks.</p>
