<p>There have been major announcements from several projects over the past day, ranging from fund launches to new platform rollouts. Here’s a recap of the top headlines from <a href="https://twitter.com/layerggofficial/status/1770255670736306448" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">@layerggofficial</a>:</p>
<p>Leading investment firm BlackRock made a splash by creating a $100 million Tokenized Asset Fund based on the $ONDO token. This represents a significant institutional embrace of crypto asset investment vehicles. ONDO has started to see a major bullish spike and this could continue for a long time.</p>
<p>On the DeFi front, BadgerDAO hinted that its eBTC product is nearing launch, while Centrifuge unveiled an on-chain platform for managing credit funds using public blockchains and its $CFG token. Maverick Protocol also teased that its hotly anticipated “Phase 3” is coming soon after completing an audit.</p>
<p>Several gaming and metaverse projects had news as well. Floki set the stage for a potentially major announcement on March 21st along with a roadmap update. Similarly, TreasureDAO’s co-founder @karelvuong revealed big plans to be unveiled at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in 2024 related to its $MAGIC token. Immutable, King River Capital, and Polygon Labs partnered on a $100 million Web3 gaming fund tied to the $IMX token.</p>

<p>Other notable updates include Status proposing a Layer 2 rollup called Status Chain, TokenFi’s launch of the YakDAO Launchpad on March 28th using its $TOKEN cryptocurrency, and WAX hinting at “big things” coming on March 26th related to its $WAXP token.</p>
<p>In one of the biggest reveals, Stellar unveiled its Soroban smart contract platform and an accompanying $100 million incentive program aimed at attracting developers to build decentralized apps using the $XLM cryptocurrency.</p>
<p>Finally, the privacy-focused Zcash ($ZEC) is slated to launch its Zashi iOS wallet on the Apple App Store on March 28th.</p>
<p>With a steady drumbeat of new offerings, funding vehicles, and technology launches, the crypto industry shows no signs of slowing its rapid innovation. Time will tell which of these announcements prove to be game-changers, but the scramble is clearly on to develop the next killer apps and platforms.</p>
