Shortly after deploying the Augustus v6 contract on March 18th, which was intended to enhance trading capabilities and cut costs, developers identified a loophole that could have permitted unauthorized fund withdrawals. To forestall any attacks, the ParaSwap team took decisive action by disabling the API linked to the contract.</p>

ParaSwap has since made a call for reports on unauthorized withdrawals to ensure comprehensive damage assessment and restitution. To restore security and user trust, the platform downgraded to the previous contract version and assured users that a reimbursement plan is forthcoming.</p>
