Bitcoin’s (BTC) bullish rally might have seen a minor halt midway but it seems like Solana (SOL) is not going to stop anytime soon. <a href="https://news.todayq.com/solana-hits-peak-popularity-on-google-trends-as-sol-regains-200/">SOL recently flipped BNB</a> to become the 4th biggest crypto and now it is aiming for a new all time high (ATH). Solana gearing up for 70% surge? 
Data shared by crypto analyst, Ali Martinez, shows that Solana has sparked optimism among investors and has hinted at a potentially bullish outlook for the token. He mentioned that the TD sell signal on the daily chart has been invalidated. This indicates that a massive shift in sentiment potentially paves the way for further upside. 
The analysts added that this breakthrough can mirror the similar kind of price surge Solana recorded in December 2023. He highlighted that Solana potentially sees another 70% rally before it will the next sell signal. 
Solana recently regained the $200 price mark after a very long time. Solana price is now 111% in the last 60 days. However, it had added another gain of 38% over the past 7 days. It is trading at an average price of $204, at the press time. Its 24 hour trading volume is down by 11% to stand at $10.7 billion. The fourth largest crypto is holding a market cap of more than $90 billion now. What’s behind this surge?

The token has flipped the “Sam Bankman-Fried curse” into a boon for its holders. Google Trends data reflects the surging interest in Solana. The interest has surpassed previous all-time highs and went on to hit a record high of 100. This surge in popularity highlights the crypto’s position as a leading Ethereum competitor and a favored token among investors. 
Looking ahead, Solana’s price appears to be in the early stages of a second bullish wave. In order to maintain the ongoing momentum and invalidate a potential pullback, SOL must consistently close above $200 in the coming days.
