General Infra & BoomPoW Update

We’ve added a dedicated GPU server to work in parallel with BoomPoW for core banano services (Kalium, Tipbot, etc.). This makes official services not dependent on BoomPoW.

BoomPoW server is being rewritten to improve stability and resiliency.

We are not accepting new BoomPoW contributors at this time. New services will be permitted after the rewrite provided they implement proper DDoS protection on their end.

Post all of the above official Banano services will undergo a migration to a new kubernetes cluster, at that time any disruptions will be communicated.

Kalium Update

Kalium v2.5.0 is out and introduces support for multiple seeds/accounts both on Android & iOS now.
