<p style="text-align: justify">The NFPrompt altcoin, recently highlighted as <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/the-end-of-binance-usd-busd-support" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>‘s 41st Launchpool project, has suffered a significant breach orchestrated by a coordinated hacker group. The NFPrompt team reported the intrusion on their official channels, outlining the immediate and subsequent safety actions to secure their platform and stakeholders.</p>
<h2 id="inside-the-breach-wallets-and-funds-compromised">Inside the Breach: Wallets and Funds Compromised</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">Culprits infiltrated several wallets, some of which were managed by contract administrators of NFPrompt, and absconded with assets. While the NFPrompt team has not specified the amount stolen, they confirmed that portions of the project’s treasury and ecosystem fund were affected.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In a rapid response, the NFPrompt team took steps to safeguard their community and resources. This included transferring ownership of all smart contracts to new wallets and alerting centralized exchanges to freeze any hacker-controlled funds. Additionally, decentralized exchanges were urged to stop all liquidity pools featuring NFP tokens.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The team has also cautioned users against accepting NFP tokens from dubious sources and has promised to mark any tokens linked to the hackers.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Following the announcement of the <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/hackers-breach-nfprompts-security-compromising-wallets-and-funds" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hack</a>, NFP’s value dropped precipitously, with a 14.82% decline in the past day, leading to a trading price of $0.7768.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">To enhance <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/microstrategys-crypto-account-breach-exposes-fake-airdrop-fraud" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">security</a> and trace the culprits, NFPrompt is collaborating with Web3 security specialists SlowMist and Chainalysis. The FBI has also been recruited to aid in the investigation, marking an intensified effort to address the cybercrime.</p>
