<p data-sourcepos="7:1-7:250">This latest <a href="https://www.microstrategy.com/press/microstrategy-acquires-additional-12000-btc-and-now-holds-205000-btc_03-11-2024" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">acquisition</a> brings MicroStrategy’s total <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> holdings to a massive 205,000 BTC. With the average purchase price sitting around $33,706 per Bitcoin (including fees and expenses), the company’s total investment is roughly $6.91 billion.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="11:1-11:273">At the time of writing (March 11, 2024), Bitcoin is trading around $71,200. This means, on paper, MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin holdings are currently worth over $14 billion.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="11:1-11:273">Considering their total investment, this translates to a potential unrealized profit of over $8 billion.</p>
<p data-sourcepos="13:1-13:294">This latest purchase further solidifies their position as one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin.</p>
