While Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, broke a record recently by exceeding its previous ATH of $ 69,000, a new record has arrived. 
At this point, BTC surpassed $71,000.

While $100,000 or more is targeted for Bitcoin in 2024, all eyes are now on the halving event that will take place in April. 
While BTC broke record after record, $332 million was liquidated in the last 24 hours, according to Coinglass data. 
Of this, $107 million was short positions and $224 million was long positions. 
While 115,605 investors became liquid in the last 24 hours, the largest single liquidation order was in BTCUSD parity on the Bybit exchange. The transaction was valued at $8.88M.
