After much speculation, <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/cardanos-input-output-hk-unveils-plutus-v3-engine/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cardano</a> founder Charles Hoskinson has provided a response for the public on the latest malfunction of Nami, a wallet that the protocol bought to supplement its in-house-designed alternative, Lace Wallet. 
A team was formed to investigate the problem with Nami’s use of ADAHandles, as <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/cardano-founder-charles-hoskinson-doubts-bitcoin-l2s-potential/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hoskinson</a> explained in his statement. The delay in retrieving these ADAHandles is one of the problems found by the crew. 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-adahandles-temporarily-disabled">ADAHandles Temporarily Disabled</h3> 
To put it in context, he imagined a user attempting to input handles, maybe ranging from $NFT to $NFTs. It seems like there’s a holdup in updating the destination to $NFTs. In order to save face and prevent more harm, the team has taken action by disabling the ADAHandles in the Nami wallet. 
Until a solution is developed and tested, the ADAHandles will stay temporarily disabled, according to Hoskinson. The team is now awaiting clearance from <a href="https://about.google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Google</a>, since they have already built and sent the code to disable the feature. Nami users were encouraged to take a short vacation while they wait for this permission and investigations into the collected codes are underway. 
It should be noted that the recently revamped Light Wallet Lace from Cardano was unaffected by the Nami wallet’s problem. The founder of Cardano expressed his empathy for the impacted people, saying that he could relate to their difficulties. In an effort to increase its community-wide adoption, Cardano initially bought <a href="https://www.namiwallet.io/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Nami wallet</a>. The Cardano light wallet Lace has been undergoing significant changes to enhance its functioning and prevent associated issues.
