<a href="https://coin-turk.com/ethereum-eth-istanbul-hard-forku-borsalardan-destek-aldi" data-wpel-link="internal">Ethereum</a> co-founder Vitalik Buterin believes that the open-source operating system Linux is an excellent solution for Elon Musk’s issues with Microsoft Windows. The day after Musk complained about not being able to install Windows OS on his newly acquired computer without a Microsoft account, Buterin invited Musk to join the Linux community. 
<h2 class="p2" style="text-align: justify" id="buterin-s-linux-recommendation">Buterin’s Linux Recommendation</h2> 
Windows; like iOS and macOS, Linux is also a popular operating system but, unlike other operating systems, Linux is open-source. The Linux operating system was first released in September 1991 and has gained popularity among a certain user base over the years. Today, the popular mobile operating system Android is supported by the Linux operating system. 
The source codes of open-source software are available for everyone to see, modify, and enhance. When the source code of a computer program is accessible to programmers, they can improve the program by adding new features or fixing faulty parts. 
Buterin stands out as a major advocate for open-source software, and therefore his recommendation did not come as a surprise to many. Many users on platform X praised Buterin for his support of open-source software, but a few reminded that Linux might not be the best option for Musk.

<h2 class="p2" style="text-align: justify" id="musk-s-noteworthy-share">Musk’s Noteworthy Share</h2> 
Musk shared on February 26th on platform X that he could not use his Windows OS laptop without a Microsoft account. He added that there used to be an option to skip signing in or creating a Microsoft account. Many users on the platform added that it is still possible to use Windows OS without a Microsoft account, which led to a community note being added to Musk’s tweet. 
However, Musk responded to the community note claiming that this option is no longer available. His response received another note explaining that the option is still there but it’s a bit more complicated than in Windows 10 and requires some difficult temporary fixes that an average Andy might not be aware of.

Users on platform X added the complex temporary solution process in the comments to help Musk progress, but the Tesla CEO believes the process shouldn’t be so complicated.
