The overall cryptocurrency market is currently experiencing a price correction phase, affecting major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Solana, and Cardano. Despite this price correction, certain Altcoins like Mantle (MNT), Flare (FLR), and ApeCoin (APE) have captured investors’ attention due to their significant token price surges. These tokens are currently experiencing substantial upside momentum. The Ethereum Layer-2 Mantle (MNT) token, for instance, has seen a 20% increase, while Flare’s FLR token is undergoing an 18% upside momentum. In the last 24 hours, ApeCoin (APE) has gained over 12% in upside momentum.
The primary reason behind these notable gains in these tokens can be attributed to ongoing reward distribution, a surge inTotal Value Locked (TVL), raising $35 million in funds from Kenetic Capital and Aves Lair, substantial token unlocks, and various continuous developments in the respective projects. 
As of now, Mantle (MNT) is trading near $0.93, experiencing over 20% upside momentum in the last 24 hours. Over a longer period, in the last 7 days, MNT has witnessed a 17% upside momentum, and in the last 30 days, its price has increased by over 40%.
Flare (FLR) is currently trading near $0.046, with an 18% upside momentum in the last 24 hours. Over the past 7 days, FLR has surged by over 33%, and in the last 30 days, it has experienced a significant 120% upside momentum.
ApeCoin (APE) is trading at around $2, with a 12% upside momentum in the last 24 hours. Following its substantial token unlocks, APE’s price has soared, experiencing a 15% upside momentum in the last 7 days and over 40% in the last 30 days. Why Altcoin price is increasing? 
These token surges are happening amid Bitcoin’s price correction, with traders and analysts expecting <a href="https://news.todayq.com/defi-tokens-steal-spotlight-from-ai-crypto-heres-how/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">altcoins to rise</a> following Bitcoin’s correction, which is currently evolving. Bitcoin’s price is currently below $51,000, nearing the lower end of its recent stable range.&nbsp;
According to Alex Kuptsikevich, a senior market analyst at FxPro, if there isn’t a rebound soon, there might be a more significant drop, possibly reaching $47,000 to $49,000. Additionally, Alex added, “Since Friday morning, crypto has been dominated by selling despite all-time highs in many global equity indices. As a very sensitive indicator, the crypto market may be signaling that investors have become a little more cautious.”
