Developer activity measures the total amount of work delivered by developers of any cryptocurrency project to their public GitHub repositories.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">One way to measure developer activity is by the number of “commits” in the repository. Accordingly, a commit refers to a record of any change made in the repository. For example, if a cryptocurrency project undergoes a hard fork, this means that the commits from the original project are naturally transferred to the new one.</p>
