MicroStrategy Inc (NASDAQ: MSTR) is on a roll as its <a href="https://news.todayq.com/microstrategy-four-year-bitcoin-bet-faces-new-challenges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin bet</a> is turning out to very up and above over the some experts’ prediction. Bitcoin’s ongoing rally to regain the $50k price level after two years shows positive momentum in the market. BTC’s massive price gain has also influenced other crypto linked companies’ markets. However, the next phase of the bull run will slightly depend on the upcoming United States <a href="https://news.todayq.com/interest-rates-inflation-crypto-makers-and-shakers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Consumer Price Index</a> (CPI) data. MicroStrategy to maintain the momentum 
According to the data, MicroStrategy (MSTR), a software company, recorded huge gains as its share price jumped by over 11% in the last 24 hours. MSTR is known for its strong support of Bitcoin and its huge BTC holdings. MSTR has seen a 45% surge in the last seven days.
MicroStrategy’s share price is up by around 4% in the pre-market trading session. Its price stood at $717.52, on the last trading day. Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy founder, has consistently advocated for Bitcoin as a store of value. the company now holds 190,000 BTC in its treasury as a hedge against inflation.
Earlier, in a post, Saylor announced that In January MicroStrategy acquired an additional 850 Bitcoin for $37.2 million. After this accumulation, MSTR now holds 190,000 BTC in its reserves.
MicroStrategy’s quarter 4 report depicts that the company acquired 31,755 bitcoins for $1.25 billion since Q3. It is holding 190,000 bitcoins at $5.93 billion as of February 5, 2024. Total revenues reached $124.5 million, down 6% YoY, while subscription services revenues rose 23% YoY to $21.5 million. Crypto stocks rally 
The positive momentum from Bitcoin’s rally has extended to Bitcoin mining stocks also. Riot Blockchain (RIOT), a Bitcoin mining giant, recorded an outstanding 55% gain over the past week. It rebounded from a low of $9.64 on January 19.&nbsp;
Marathon Digital Holdings, another major player in Bitcoin mining, replicated an impressive 60% gain in the last seven days. Hive Blockchain Technologies (HIVE) too saw a huge 28% increase in its stock price during the same period.
This surge comes in line with a trend setting Bitcoin price surge. BTC calmly held the $50k price level after hovering around the $46k-$47k price zones. However, it is trading at an average price of $49,799, at the press time. Bitcoin’s 24 hour trading volume is fuming with a surge of 96% to stand at around $40 billion.
