Despite this jump for Bitcoin, trends suggest that crypto advertisements might take a back seat in the upcoming events. The much hyped Super Bowl, one of the most-watched events in the United States, is approaching.&nbsp;
According to reports, the Taylor Swift effect is in the play. With every game she attended this season experienced a viewership boost. This attracts attention from beauty brands targeting younger and majorly female audiences. Celebrity overload is another trend in marketing with many ads featuring multiple famous personalities.
Interestingly, the Super Bowl this year sees a shift in advertising focus. Unlike previous years dominated by crypto linked ads, this year witnessed a decline in such promotions during the big game. Reports suggest that major crypto firms, including Kraken and Coinbase, are opting out of Super Bowl advertising.
This explains that the current wave of crypto marketing should prioritize education and awareness of the substance. It added that the true value proposition of crypto is a movement for financial freedom and inclusion.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, Coinbase is directing its efforts toward lobbying Congress for comprehensive digital asset legislation. It launched a campaign contribution to crypto-friendly politicians.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin price surged past $48,000 on Friday morning. BTC reached levels not seen since March 2022 following the approval of spot bitcoin ETFs.&nbsp;
Despite concerns about outflows from the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF (GBTC) and potential price pullbacks, Bitcoin had its best week since December 8. Its price has jumped by 10% in the last 7 days.&nbsp; BTC taking high road 
Bitcoin is trading at an average price of $47,157, at the press time. Its 24 hour trading volume is up by 19% to stand at $33.5 billion. However, BTC is just shy of touching $1 trillion in market cap.
Ether also performed well, achieving its best week since January 12, finishing higher by 8.46%. ETH is trading at an average price of $2,409, at the press time. Its 24 hour trading volume is up by 8% to stand at $11.8 billion.
