<p>The response to the US GAO report extends beyond the U.S., with major global regulatory bodies implementing frameworks to align cryptocurrency operations with AML guidelines. Europe has enacted the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, and Asian countries like Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore have introduced strict regulations for crypto service providers.
