Solana meme coin Myro (MYRO) has seen a remarkable surge, more than tripling its price in the early days of 2024. Named after Myro, the pet dog of Raj Gokal, one of Solana’s co-founders, the coin has garnered attention with a price increase of over 70% in the last 24 hours, reaching an all-time high above $0.076. As the third-largest Solana meme coin, MYRO has outperformed other large-cap meme coins like Bonk (BONK) and Dogwifhat (WIF) in recent days. 
Promoted by numerous cryptocurrency influencers on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), MYRO’s market capitalization has surpassed $75 million, and the community anticipates it reaching $100 million soon. The token is available on Solana decentralized exchanges (DEXes) Raydium and Orca, as well as centralized exchanges KuCoin, HTX, and MEXC Global. 
In the past week alone, MYRO’s price has surged by more than 240%, making it the fastest-growing meme coin in the Solana ecosystem. It has also overtaken Dogwifhat (WIF) as the second most popular Solana meme cryptocurrency by trading volume. 
Looking ahead, the MYRO team has plans to introduce a user-friendly staking program in 2024, adding further utilities to the coin. The community remains optimistic about potential listings on major exchanges like Binance (BNB) and Coinbase, given its rapid growth and popularity. Despite being compared to the highly hyped Bonk (BONK), MYRO’s surge marks it as a noteworthy contender in the Solana meme coin space.
