1. EIP-1153: Introduces two EVM opcodes, TLOAD and TSTORE, designed to self-erase after each transaction, enhancing gas fee efficiency.
2. EIP-4788: Exposes the Ethereum Beacon chain’s block roots to the EVM by storing them in a smart contract on the execution layer.
3. EIP-4844: Proto-Danksharding introduces temporary data blobs leveraged by rollups to store transaction data segments. This innovation results in lower gas fees and ensures the streamlined operation of Ethereum nodes.
4. EIP-5656: Introduces a new EVM copycode called MCOPY, providing a simplified and cost-effective method for copying memory in the EVM.
5. EIP-6780: Updates the SELFDESTRUCT opcode to exclusively delete a contract if the opcode is invoked within the same transaction as the contract creation.
6. EIP-7044: Eliminates restrictions on the validity of a validator exit message.
7. EIP-7045: This Ethereum upgrade extends the period during which an attestation can be included in a Beacon Chain block.
8. EIP-7514: Adds a hard cap on the number of validators that can be activated during each epoch.
9. EIP-7516: This Ethereum upgrade introduces a new opcode known as BLOBBASEFEE, providing the value of the blob base-fee of the current executing block. When will Ethereum Cancun go live? 
As of the latest information from the Ethereum protocol development team’s blog on December 13, 2023, the Dencun upgrade is in its conclusive testing stages. Testnet upgrades for Dencun are anticipated to commence in the early months of 2024.
CoinDesk reports that developers have set their sights on deploying the Dencun upgrade on the Goerli test net by January 17, 2024. The subsequent testing phases on the Sepolia and Holesky testnets, scheduled for January and February 2024, respectively, will precede the eagerly awaited mainnet launch.
Despite the initial projection for an October 2023 launch, discussions at the All Core Developers Consensus Call #121 on November 2 led to a prudent decision to delay the Dencun upgrade.
