<p>Crypto Prices Today: The cryptocurrency market rebounded tentatively on Friday morning, with major digital assets trading in the green. Bitcoin made a partial recovery from Wednesday’s low and the prices topped $43,000 — up nearly 160% from a year ago.</p> 
<p>The positive sentiment could be largely explained by the growing excitement that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will soon give its blessing to spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).</p> 
<p>CoinGape reported Thursday that the SEC held discussions with officials from major security exchanges. Furthermore, Grayscale — one of the Bitcoin ETF applicants —&nbsp; filed its <a href="https://coingape.com/after-grayscale-vaneck-files-form-8a-heres-what-it-means/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Form 8-A </a>with the federal regulator in hopes it would get the nod to offer shares of its Bitcoin ETF as securities.</p> 
<p>Amid the buzz around <a href="https://coingape.com/bitcoin-etf-approval-in-final-stage-before-secs-19b-4-submissions-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin ETFs</a>, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BTC price</a> went up 1% over the last 24 hours to $43,632. The market cap of Bitcoin rose to $854.7 billion while trading volumes jumped 42% to $34.68 billion over the last 24 hours.</p> 
<p>Ethereum also gained nearly 0.46% over the last 24 hours and was trading at $2,249 at press time, with its market capitalization increasing to $270.3 billion. Trading volume stood at $11.6 billion, up 66% over the last 24 hours.</p> 
<p>Other tokens advanced too, with Tether (USDT) — the third largest crypto — climbing 0.03% to $1, BNB up 1% to $323, and Solana (SOL) price rising 0.63% to $101.3 However, not all top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap rose over the last 24 hours.</p> 
<p>For instance, <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> was down 1%, USDC price down 0.01%, Cardano (ADA) price off 1.5% and AVAX off 0.18%. Popular meme coins — Dogecoin and Shiba Inu — gained over the last 24 hours, having appreciated by 0.7% and 2%, respectively.</p> 
<p>The global crypto market rose over 1% to $1.66 trillion The fear and greed index level stood at 70, closer to greed.</p>

<p>The Aptos blockchain’s native token APT rallied nearly 14% over the last 24 hours. The altcoin last changed hands at $10.49, with its market cap zooming to $3.2 billion. Trading volumes over the last 24 hours rose a staggering 118% to $706.5 million.</p>
