OKX has issued its 14th&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.okx.com/learn/okx-14th-proof-of-reserves" rel="noreferrer noopener">reserve certificate</a>, revealing $14.9 billion in user assets as of Dec. 13, 2023.&nbsp; 
The exchange is committed to supporting user-held XRP with 103% coverage, ensuring robust backing for the exchange’s reserves.&nbsp; 
This commitment extends to 233.74 million XRP, valued at $143.52 million.&nbsp; 
Interestingly, OKX’s XRP reserves exceed user funds by 7.673 million coins.&nbsp;

User positions in XRP on OKX have increased by 300,000 more than reserves since the last report, causing a 1% drop in the reserve ratio. 
On another front, Ripple’s Chief legal officer, Stuart Alderoty, announced on Dec. 20 that the cross-border payment remittance firm received approval to operate as a digital asset services provider in Ireland. This approval follows earlier licenses granted in <a href="https://crypto.news/dubais-mirage-the-city-might-be-heaven-but-not-for-crypto-entrepreneurs-opinion/" data-type="post" data-id="14230472">Dubai</a> and Singapore this year, expanding Ripple’s access to new markets. 
Such access enhances XRP’s adoption and utility and may support price. As of Dec. 21, XRP was trading at $0.6167, down 2.02% decrease in the past week.&nbsp; 
Analysts anticipate XRP to rise to $0.6855 in January 2024, driven by increased adoption and utilities.&nbsp;
