The renowned Blockchain tracker Whale Alert announced that an old Ethereum wallet, inactive since the end of 2014, has been reactivated.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The reactivated Ethereum wallet, holding 11,640 <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/celo-finds-refuge-in-ethereum-solana-and-others-face-challenges/" data-wpel-link="internal">ETH</a> valued at approximately 26 million 489 thousand 720 dollars, has sparked debates within the crypto community. The sudden activity of the whale, which had been inactive since the end of Ethereum’s initial cryptocurrency offering (ICO) in 2014, fueled speculations and humorous comments among the community.</p>

The increase in activity coincided with a 10% price surge in Ethereum at the beginning of December. ETH reclaimed the 2,377 dollar level. This led to several whales selling their ETH acquired during the ICO to capitalize on the gains.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify">Despite a correction on December 10, when Ethereum reclaimed its 10% gain, the cryptocurrency showed strong resilience with a 7.38% increase. As of the latest update, Ethereum is trading at 2,285 dollars, maintaining its resistance above the 2,200 dollar level. Despite occasionally dipping below this threshold, Ethereum has demonstrated stability above 2,000 dollars amidst market turbulence.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Historical indicators suggest that the first quarter of each year typically offers a buying opportunity for Ethereum, indicating productive first quarters for ETH. As we approach the first quarter of 2024, a similar situation may arise.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify">On the other hand, we witness the continuous moves of Ethereum whales almost every day. However, among these movements, the rare and intriguing ones involve wallets that have been inactive since the ICO period. As seen in today’s event, a move involving approximately 26 million 500 thousand dollars worth of Ethereum (ETH) has turned the eyes of crypto investors to this whale.
