<h2 id="header-0">Windows PC downloader test goes live Friday 22nd December!</h2><p>Following the successful Windows PC downloader test with our select group of Beta testers, we are excited to announce an upcoming test- Friday 22nd December.</p><p>This test is specifically for <strong><em>Windows PC users</em></strong>, and will require an application being installed onto your Windows device.</p><h3 id="why-are-we-switching-to-a-downloadable-app-as-a-test">Why are we switching to a downloadable app as a test?</h3><p>We’ve taken on board all the feedback from previous tests. Whilst it was generally good, we wanted to be even better.</p><p>We’ve considered feedback from past tests and worked hard behind the scenes for improvement. Despite positive outcomes using Cloud Rendering for desktop events, challenges arose. Recognising the need for enhancements, the new testing approach is designed to address previous issues and offer a solution that is expected to significantly enhance the overall user experience!</p><h3 id="what-is-the-difference-versus-the-previous-test">What is the difference versus the previous test?</h3><p>The fundamental difference for this test is that there won’t be a live stream. Instead, users can download a file directly from the Bloktopia website to their PCs and open the app. Simple!</p><p>From there, it’s all the same; joining M3TASPACES will follow the same process as previous tests. The environment, now in the enhanced M3TASPACES with a new stage and portal to M3TAClub, will remain familiar. Users can continue to socialise using voice and text chat, along with avatar emotes, just like before. Improved quality is anticipated for the majority of users.</p><h3 id="what-equipment-do-i-need-to-join">What equipment do I need to join?</h3><p>This test is designed exclusively for Windows PCs. Compatibility with IOS devices is currently not available, but we are considering it for future testing based on the results of this upcoming one.</p><p>Although we recently mentioned the possibility of accessing M3TASPACES on phones and tablets on our official Twitter account, please note that they <strong><em>will not</em></strong> be compatible with this upcoming test; this consideration is reserved for future testing phases also. <strong>This test is solely for</strong> <strong>Windows PCs</strong>.</p><p>The recommended specification is as follows:</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>OS: 64 bit Windows 10</li><li>Processor (AMD): Ryzen 5 5600H</li><li>Processor (Intel): i5 3470</li><li>Memory: 8GB</li><li>Graphics card (AMD): Radeon RX 580</li><li>Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce 1060 GTX</li><li>Internet connection: 10MB/s</li><li>HDD Space: 25GB</li></ul><p><strong>Recommended Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>OS: 64 bit Windows 11</li><li>Processor (AMD): Ryzen 7 5800H</li><li>Processor (Intel): i7 3770</li><li>Memory: 16GB</li><li>Graphics card (AMD): Radeon RX 5600</li><li>Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce 2060 RTX</li><li>Internet connection: 30MB/s</li><li>HDD Space: 25GB</li></ul><react-video url="https://youtu.be/MUbBKDIo938"></react-video><p>Video demo on how to download to your Windows PC and join M3TASPACES</p><h3 id="m3tapass">M3TAPASS</h3><p>As per previous tests, M3TAPASS will still be required in order to join M3TASPACES and the live event.</p><p>Users must download M3TAPASS and create an account with an avatar ahead of the event.</p><p>M3TAPASS is available to download across Android and IOS <a href="https://www.bloktopia.com/play/m3tapass" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>.</p><h3 id="schedule-of-event">Schedule of Event</h3><p>Here is a breakdown of key times for joining M3TASPACES on Friday 22nd December:</p><ul><li><strong>12:00 UTC:</strong> Windows PC downloadable app goes live on the Bloktopia website, available to download ahead of the live event</li><li><strong>13:00 UTC:</strong> M3TASPACES doors open for users to access, allowing time for users to explore the environment and adjust ahead of the live event</li><li><strong>14:00 UTC:</strong> Live event on stage begins</li></ul><h3 id="rewards">Rewards</h3><p>Once again, we will be rewarding participants <strong><em>who specifically join the live event at 14:00 UTC</em></strong> with 5,000 $BLOK, as a thank you for helping with this community test.</p><p>Users will not be rewarded for joining at any other time, but are encouraged to do so.</p><p>In exchange we are just asking for your time and support, and for you to fill in the exit survey that will be shared across Discord and Social Channels — this is critical feedback for us!</p><h3 id="about-bloktopia">About Bloktopia</h3><p>Bloktopia is a VR skyscraper made up of 21 floors to commemorate 21 million Bitcoin.
