In 2022-2023, the RWA ( Real World Assets) trend began to be understood “from the top”. Large asset management companies have already <a href="https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/08/17/how-is-tokenization-impacting-investing/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">started investing</a> in tokenization. For example, both KKR and Hamilton Lane launched tokenized private funds in 2022 using Securitize, a fintech company specializing in tokenization. Franklin Templeton launched a tokenized money market fund on the Stellar blockchain in 2021, which raised over $270 million by April 2023, just a few months after expanding to Polygon. <a href="https://icg.citi.com/icghome/what-we-think/citigps/insights/money-tokens-and-games" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Citigroup predicts</a> that by 2030, the market for tokenized digital securities will reach $4-5 trillion, according to their report “Money, Tokens, and Games” from March 2023.As for the crypto market, it truly started to respond to the RWA trend closer to the end of 2023. This also led to the growth of our ecosystem’s native token – BRTR.
