Bonk (BONK) on Friday flipped Pepe (PEPE) to become the third largest meme crypto. BONK price has jumped by around 1000% in the last 30 days, while, Pepe coin seems to be losing its allure. The fresh Bonk price gain pushed the meme crypto category to maintain positive sentiments. BONK price gains 1000% in 30 days 
The data shows Bonk price jumped by 36% in the last 24 hours. Its 24 hour trading volume is up by 91% to stand at $217 million. It is trading at an average price of $0.000012, at the press time. However, Bonk leading the ongoing surge has managed to attain a market cap of $754 million to become the third largest meme crypto.
Bonk displaced Pepe coin in order to enter the tally of the three biggest cryptos. PEPE has emerged as the new trending meme coin in the market recently and is now facing tough competition from other cryptos. Pepe Coin’s latest performance hasn’t been good so far. BONK is being introduced as the first dog themed coin based on the Solana network which is for the people, by the people. However, bonk’s 50% of the total supply is being airdropped to the Solana community.
Solana’s major comeback this year is one of the major reasons fueling BONK price massive surge. SOL entered the year 2023 trading at a single digit ($9.91). However, Solana now seems to be back on track after surging by 624% over the last year.
SOL price registered a gain of more than 13% in the last 24 hours. It’s trading at an average price of $72, at the press time. Solana has now become the sixth largest crypto with a market cap of around $31 billion.
