<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/riot-platforms-to-boost-efficiency-with-midas-immersion-coolings/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Riot</a> Platforms, Inc., a leader in Bitcoin mining, showcased a notable 21% rise in its Bitcoin <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">production</a> in November 2023, mining 552 Bitcoin. This increase marks both a month-over-month improvement and a 6% rise year-over-year, compared to the 521 Bitcoin mined in November 2022, according to <a href="https://www.riotplatforms.com/riot-announces-november-2023-production-and-operations-updates/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Riotplatforms</a>.
The company averaged 18.4 Bitcoin mined daily in November, up 25% from October's 14.8 average. Riot's <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/rising-mining-difficulty-squeezes-bitcoin-miners-sparks-accumulation-among-whales/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin holdings</a> increased to 7,358, a 7% year-over-year growth. From sales, Riot generated $19.6 million in net proceeds by selling 540 Bitcoin, a 142% increase from November 2022, with the average selling price of Bitcoin rising to $36,278, up 28% from October.
Riot's <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hash rate</a> grew to 12.4 EH/s, a 6% increase from October and 61% year-over-year. The number of miners deployed reached 112,944, marking a 6% month-over-month and 56% year-over-year increase.
The company's strategic growth includes a long-term deal with <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/microbt/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MicroBT</a>, ordering 33,280 <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/russias-bitcoin-gold-rush-mining-machine-influx-outpaces-rest-of-the-world/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin miners</a> for its Corsicana Facility and an additional 66,650 miners in December. These orders are expected to raise Riot's capacity by 26 EH/s, targeting a total capacity of 38 EH/s by 2025.
