Since launched in early 2023, the Ordinals quickly beomes one of the largest ecossystem in the bitcoin network. The Bitcoin Ordinals mechanism set the stage for the development of both fungible tokens, like BRC-20 tokens, and non-fungible tokens. It allows for arbitrary data to be inscribed onto the lowest denomination bitcoin (known as satoshi), leading to a flurry of images, and text to be inscribed.
