The recent surge in the crypto market has captured everyone’s attention, as an <a href="https://news.todayq.com/binance-offers-zero-fees-on-xrp-doge-eth/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a> (ETH) whale has emerged after being dormant for nearly five years. According to a recent post by Lookonchain, an on-chain analytics tool, this ETH whale was inactive for the last 5 years and has now started selling its holdings. Apart from selling those holdings, this dormant whale deposited a significant 39,260 ETH, worth around $87.5 million, on the Kraken exchange in the Asian morning hours, as per blockchain data. Back in June to August 2017, this ETH whale received a staggering 47,260 ETH (valued at $11.34 million) from one transaction when the price was around $240 per ETH.

However, if this whale sold all of these holdings at the current price, they would make a profit of approximately $78 million.&nbsp;
A recent investigation of thewallet address (0x49664b462Ea58135ff73c09154d5eB61F31F8f8b) reveals that previous transactions are not linked to the cold storage of any cryptocurrency exchange. However, there’s a chance that one transaction could be associated with an address belonging to the trading firm Cumberland, as indicated by the labeling on the data tool Arkham. Apart from this significant ETH transfer,Celsius transferred a massive 7,500 ETH, worth around $16.7 million, to FalconX. Additionally, in the last 21 days, Celsius has transferred a significant 37,260 ETH, worth around $83 million, to different exchanges including FalconX, Coinbase, and OKX. The reason behind this significant ETH transfer is still unknown, but it might be because of safety and security reasons. 
Currently, ETH is trading near $2,210, and in the last 24 hours, it has experienced a modest 0.5% downside movement. On the other hand, in the last 7 days, it has shown a substantial 8.8% upside momentum.
