Notable cryptocurrency wallet Trust Wallet once again garnered everyone’s attention after its price surged on November 7, 2023. As of November 30, 2023, Trust Wallet alerted its users regarding an ongoing issue with the Bitcoin (BTC) Node through their social media post on X (previously Twitter). Bitcoin Node issues impacting transactions 
This BTC node issue may affect transaction delays as well as missing transaction history. They clearly stated on X that they are “experiencing a BTC node issue” that may delay transactions, and users may experience missing transaction history for the Bitcoin blockchain for up to 6 hours, along with failed transactions. 
The issues caused by increased transactions per block in the Bitcoin network are putting pressure on nodes, causing instability across providers. Trust Wallet officials also expressed appreciation for the understanding of users, acknowledging that their team is diligently working to address these issues. Understanding the impact on Nodes 
If you have no idea how increased transactions per block can impact nodes, here’s a simple explanation: a Bitcoin node is like a traffic analyzer in the Bitcoin network, keeping a full record of all transactions in the blockchain and facilitating information flow between different parts of the network. 
When there’s a surge in transactions, it creates challenges for nodes. Bitcoin has a limit on the number of transactions each block can contain, which is 1 megabyte. With more transactions, there’s a backlog, and nodes prioritize those with higher fees, causing delays in transactions.

Nodes also need to share transaction data across the network. More transactions mean more data across the network, slowing down the process and causing delays in reaching a miner’s view. 
Calculation pressure is another concern. More transactions require more calculations for validation, pushing the limits of a node’s processing capacity and potentially slowing down its performance. Overall, increased transaction volume can lead to congestion, slower processing, and potential synchronization issues in the Bitcoin network. Earlier this month, Trust Wallet token (TWT) experienced a significant upside surge of about 22%. This massive surge was triggered by the long-awaited listing of TWT on Binance Futures. Currently, as of writing, TWT is trading near $1.11 with a 2% downside movement in the last 24 hours. This fall might be attributed to the recent Trust Wallet issues.
