 <p>In a comment on Blockworks, Steven Laver, lead mobile software engineer at Solana (SOL) Labs, said the CertiK video does not disclose any known vulnerabilities or <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="security" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/security.html">security</a> risks for Saga owners.</p>

 <p>Earlier, CertiK, a company specializing in cyber<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="security" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/security.html">security</a> and blockchain projects, discovered a vulnerability in Solana smart<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="phone" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/phone.html">phone</a>s. Representatives of the company published a video in which they showed the process of hacking the device. To do this, the CertiK team unlocked the smart<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="phone" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/phone.html">phone</a>’s bootloader, after which it gained access to all the device’s data.</p>

 <p>According to experts, the identified vulnerability “poses a danger to the entire industry.”</p>
 <p>The Solana Saga smartphone was presented earlier in, 2022, and the project itself was positioned as a “killer” of devices from Google and Apple. The main feature of the device is unhindered access to dApps and blockchain protocols. The function is implemented using the built-in online store Solana dApp Store.</p>
