The world awaits both, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, a MonsterVerse-based TV show, and Apple’s upcoming head-mounted device Vision Pro. Sadly, the show will not be available for mixed reality devices as some rumors suggested in the past. Chris Black, co-creator of the show, denies the show being compatible with three-dimensional solidity.

While talking to The Movie Podcast, a Canadian film and television podcast, he outright declined any of the associated rumors. He asserts, “Well it’s just not true. Show was shot in 4K high def digital video and not designed to be viewed in 3D or upscaled to 3D.”

The series will debut on&nbsp; Apple TV on 17 November 2023. Tomatometer is already showing 89 percent, certifying it fresh to watch. The show will star Kurt Russel, Anna Sawai, Wyatt Russel, and more. It will follow the storyline after the epic battle between the fictional characters Godzilla and MUTOs (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms) resulting in the leveling of San Francisco.
<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2023/09/27/why-the-warner-bros-share-price-is-slipping-to-lower-levels/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Warner Bros</a> and Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse has seen four movies released since 2014 with Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) being the critics’ favorite. Although it has not been revealed which monsters are included in the series, Godzilla is expected to appear recurrently between episodes.
Vision Pro was first showcased during Apple’s WorldWide Developers Conference 2023 (WWDC23) in June. Although HMD enthusiasts believed that the device would be a revolution in the metaverse, the company made it clear that they are focusing on spatial computing.
Its initial launch is anticipated to see nearly 350K units shipping following the launch. The number is expected to rise to 12 Million by 2028. The speculation shows that the adoption of such devices will only rise. However, expensive devices are economically backbreaking for many, preventing them from accessing the gadgets. Vision Pro will initially cost around $3,500.
Their rivals, Meta Platforms, also revealed Meta Quest 3 just around WWDC23. The device remains the cheapest in its HMD fleet. Unlike Vision Pro, it will be focused more on virtual reality (VR). Although cheap, Apple’s HMD is more advanced in the context of display quality and its compatibility with gaming controllers.
Former Apple employee Chappy Asel recently wrote on his Medium that, “The Apple Vision Pro will define a new paradigm in computing. As an AR/VR engineer working on VisionOS for the past two years and experiencing firsthand the breathtaking magic that is the VisionOS spatial computing platform, I can say this with the utmost confidence.”
