However, as of November 13, this number increased to 2.04 million BTC. This indicates that investors have deposited approximately $1.1 billion worth of BTC on exchanges. The additional supply that brings selling risk can cause the price to drop rapidly in case of unexpected developments, as a significant portion of the held Bitcoins are profitable.</p>
