<p><br>A recent wave of scams involving Ripple’s XRP has flooded various social media platforms. Using AI to replicate Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s voice and appearance, scammers push a bogus XRP giveaway. The fabricated video pitches a deal: “Send 1,000 XRP, get double in return.” Yet, discrepancies in mouth movements in the video have raised suspicions.</p> 
<p>One XRP enthusiast, Shen, on social media likened these deepfake videos to a viral threat. Criticizing platforms’ failure to authenticate content, Shen cited similar instances involving personalities like @elonmusk. He lamented platforms cracking down on ad-blockers but neglecting scam-based ads, highlighting their profit-centric approach.</p>
