<h2 id="header-0">Hot Topic: Community Test Re-Cap — Our highest attendance yet!</h2>Developer Diaries aim to give a transparent view to our community on how the build of Bloktopia is progressing. We value your loyalty and passion for our project, and we will be sharing as much information as we can about 1 specific feature — hopefully at the end of each week!We will continue to work in an agile manner, and will be adapting and optimising our roadmap continuously. That is the nature of building a metaverse. Some things we share here might not ever come to fruition, but our goal will be to set clear expectations and communicate with you all about the upcoming roadmap and priorities.This weekly Developer Diary update is about our third major community test for our ever evolving M3TASPACES product.With each test we’ve done, along with the 2nd Birthday Party event which was a hybrid of testing and an official event, we’ve looked to increase concurrent users, showcase new features, reduce to barriers to entry and improve backend responsiveness/stability.The test was no different. We brought in the MOST concurrent users that we have ever seen in M3TASPACES- surpassing the last test by nearly 200 hundred users and hitting just shy of 600 concurrent users! The good news is that it’s just the start — with capacity continuing to expand!<h3 id="test-results">Test Results:</h3>Here are the key points summarising the last Bloktopia M3TASPACES community test:<ul><li>The event was attended by 576 fully connected concurrent users from 141 different countries. Our highest and most diverse test to date</li><li>The best scores for audio and communication in the environment were between 3.2–3.5. This has now increased to 4.1 due to improvements in voice communications and text chat.</li><li>The server load during the event was only at 2%, a significant update from previous tests. This was the main takeaway from the test, demonstrating the backend responsiveness and stability improvements.</li></ul><h3 id="key-announcements-and-what-is-next">Key Announcements and What is Next:</h3>A re-cap of some of the key announcements from our CMO’s quick talk on stage to the live audience:<ul><li>Bloktopia Night Club: along with the recently announced Bloktopia Arcade coming soon, it was announced a brand new Night Club will be introduced into the M3TASPACES environment!</li><li>Naming Competition: In the same vein as the Bloktopia Arcade announcement, we’ve launched a new competition inviting the community to suggest names for the upcoming Night Club. We’re eager to hear your creative ideas for naming both the Arcade and Night Club. If your suggestion makes it to the shortlist and is ultimately chosen as the official name for either the Arcade or Night Club, you could win 100,000 $BLOK! This will be fulfilled in the very near future once all of the data is collected for the participants</li></ul><react-video url="https://youtu.be/-3ewAItEdPI"></react-video><h3 id="m3tapass-1-2-0-is-coming">M3TAPASS 1.2.0 is coming!</h3>As announced <a href="https://twitter.com/bloktopia/status/1722273921540714537" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>, an update for M3TAPASS is soon to hit the app stores across both Apple and Android!The key feature of this upcoming update is the introduction of “Push Notifications”. This enables users to receive updates directly to their device relating to all things Bloktopia and M3TASPACES. This will be key when it comes to future testing, future events and future giveaways!To ensure you receive rewards through future AirDrops, it’s crucial that you enable the new Push Notifications. Once you download the latest version of the app, you’ll be prompted to enable these notifications. If you miss this prompt or it doesn’t appear, don’t worry!
