The Dubai Financial Services Authority has recognized XRP and Toncoin, allowing financial institutions in the DIFC to trade with these tokens, joining <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/dubai-to-construct-the-worlds-first-bitcoin-tower" class="f-link" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a>, Ether, and Litecoin.&nbsp;
Ripple's MENA headquarters is in DIFC, with around 20% of its customers in the region. The DFSA regulates DIFC and introduced <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/cryptocurrency-as-new-payment-option-by-ferrari" class="f-link" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency </a> regulations in October 2021. It recently proposed a Digital Assets Law, outlining legal requirements and regulations for digital assets.
