Buterin caught the attention of the crypto world once again by transferring 100 ETH worth $181,000 to the cryptocurrency exchange <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/crypto-com-faces-allegations-of-internal-trading-teams-sec-alert/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase</a>.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Before this transaction, Buterin made an important statement regarding his previous transfers, stating that he had not sold any ETH for personal gains since 2018. This raised suspicions about something significant approaching. Although there have been speculations about the transfer being made for personal reasons or to <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/finance/" data-wpel-link="exclude" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">finance</a> another project, the main reason or truth behind the transfer remains uncertain.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Buterin recently stated on his personal Twitter account that he has not made any ETH transactions for business purposes or personal gains since 2018. He emphasized that the ETH transfers he has made in the past few years were for charity and donation purposes. He also added, “If there is any information about ‘Vitalik sending XXX ETH to a cryptocurrency exchange,’ know that it is for donations to non-profit organizations or other projects.”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Since September 17th, the co-founder of Ethereum has transferred approximately 3,700 ETH worth $6.12 million to various cryptocurrency exchanges, including Bitstamp, Paxos, and Coinbase.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Meanwhile, the price of the altcoin king has seen a 0.62% increase in the last 24 hours, trading at $1,804, while the trading volume has decreased by 13.47% to $6.65 billion during the same period. Its market value stands at $216.90 billion.
