<p>Blur, one of the leading NFT marketplace is built on Polygon, a layer-two scaling solution for Ethereum. The platform offers a wide range of NFT projects from multiple sources including Rarible, LooksRare, SuperRare, OpenSea, and others.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>OpenSea has been a market leader in the NFT marketplace for a long time but Blur has been giving it tough competition recently. Even though it beat OpenSea in terms of market share in 2023 for a while but was not able to sustain the positive momentum after its airdrop.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Blur is an NFT marketplace where you can trade NFTs and collect them. It was introduced in October 2022 and in very less time it became the top NFT marketplace. In 2023, according to CoinGecko, a market analysis website, Blur (56.8%) surpassed OpenSea’s (36.50%) in terms of market share making it the leader in the NFT marketplace segment. <p>Blur and OpenSea are the two big players in the world of NFT Marketplace. However, their target audience is totally different from each other as OpenSea targets everyone but Blur targets the big players and whale traders. Moreover, OpenSea has a 2.5% fee, on the other hand, Blur doesn’t have any trading fee; it only enforces a 0.5% creator royalty.</p> 
<p>According to the Dune analytics, OpenSea has a volume of $19,971,617 which is 30.9% and Blur has a volume of $44,638,132 which is 69.1% indicating that Blur has more volume than OpenSea in the past week.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>OpenSea wins in terms of userbase as OpenSea has 42,100 traders (76.2%) whereas Blur has only 20,526 traders. Additionally, OpenSea has more trade as compared to Blur. In the past week, Blur had 54,000 trades which is 43.3% of the total, on the other hand, OpenSea has 70,813 trades which is 56.7% of the total.</p>
