Renowned crypto analyst Max Keiser recently made surprising statements. The analyst made disturbing comments about certain cryptocurrencies, claiming that they play a role in financing terrorism.
These statements sparked a debate in the cryptocurrency community, with strong reactions coming from both supporters and critics of cryptocurrencies. Australian lawyer Bill Morgan, a prominent crypto follower, responded to Keiser’s comments in an interesting way, taking the discussion to a whole new level.

On October 18, 2023, a critical decision was made by the US Treasury Department. Sanctions were imposed to disrupt the income sources of ten leading members of the Hamas terrorist organization. In response to this, Max Keiser strongly expressed his views on X. He claimed that cryptocurrencies such as ETH, XRP, BNB, <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/why-are-whales-abandoning-cardano-ada/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ADA</a>, and others are created by individuals referred to as “<a href="https://newslinker.co/category/finance/" data-wpel-link="exclude" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">financial</a> terrorists” and are used to support existing terrorism.
Keiser’s claims did not stop there. He called for the imprisonment of individuals and institutions connected to cryptocurrencies, referring to the founders and executives of major companies such as Brad, Charles, Brock, Vitalik, Cynthia, and more, due to their alleged involvement in terrorism. He also called for clear measures to be taken.
It is worth mentioning that the individuals mentioned by Keiser are prominent figures in the crypto sector, including Brad Garlinghouse from Ripple, Charles Hoskinson from Cardano, Brock Pierce from EOS, Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, and US Senator Cynthia Lummis.
However, Keiser made a distinction for Bitcoin. He described Bitcoin as a human-made crypto asset designed to challenge the authorities of central banks and negative government supporters. He even went as far as to refer to Bitcoin as “God’s money.”

Morgan humorously rejected Keiser’s comments by saying, “Max is experiencing another <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/analyst-shares-expectations-for-xrp-chainlink-link-and-worldcoin-wld-in-the-short-term/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Altcoin</a> incident.”
Meanwhile, Keiser’s comments gained wider attention and sparked intense discussions within the crypto community. While some argue that Keiser has the freedom to express his opinions, others strongly disagree with his claims.
The use of cryptocurrencies for illegal activities is not a new topic. Concerns and expectations for regulatory scrutiny on the matter have been around for a long time.
