<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitdeer-pioneers-crypto-mining-expansion-with-norway-and-bhutan-data-centers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitdeer</a> Technologies Group is in a conundrum. Even as it reported a 25.8% increase in Bitcoin mining for September, the firm saw its stock plummet by 6.06% in intraday trading, according to <a href="https://ultramining.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ultramining</a>.

The slide in the stock is part of a larger, more alarming trend. Since the start of the year, the company's shares have nose-dived by 68.62%. Just in the past five days, they have fallen by 42.02%. The operational side paints a different picture: <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitdeer-pioneers-crypto-mining-expansion-with-norway-and-bhutan-data-centers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitdeer</a> operates 221,000 crypto mining machines and has an electrical capacity of 895MW for its mining activities. Despite its operational success, the company is failing to maintain investor confidence.
The steep decline in share price starkly contrasts with Bitdeer's crypto mining operations, which seem to be in robust health, thanks to their new Gedu mining data center. While Bitdeer is mining more Bitcoins and promptly converting them to fiat to maintain liquidity, investors appear to be pulling away.
In a nutshell, Bitdeer Technologies is facing a disconnection between its operational gains and its stock market reality. The addition of a new mining data center has failed to halt the decline in investor sentiment, making the road ahead uncertain for the Nasdaq-listed firm.
