The anti-crypto Senator has decided to open a new front against cryptocurrencies, using the powerful support politicians give to Israel. The Senator, emphasizing that crypto is a tool used to support criminals, found the support he was expecting.</p> 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="us-cryptocurrency-letter">US Cryptocurrency Letter</h2> 
<p style="text-align: justify">Senator Elizabeth Warren, along with 28 Senators and 76 members of the House of Representatives, signed the letter. The letter, which discusses the role of crypto in financing terrorism, primarily received support from Democrats. Warren has an extremely anti-crypto stance and believes that all drugs, illegal weapons, and explosives used in terrorist acts are purchased with <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/bitcoin-whales-on-the-move-20000-btc-purchased-in-10-days/" data-wpel-link="internal">Bitcoin</a> instead of dollars. States that launder money use Bitcoin instead of the dollar, and terrorist organizations like ISIS and YPG never touch the dollar.</p>

The politicians, who wrote that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad collected over $130 million in crypto donations between August 2021 and June 2023, quoted from a popular news source on the subject.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The signatories asked the recipients 9 questions, including what information the Biden administration has about those financing terrorism, what is being done regarding the use of crypto to finance terrorism, and what other resources the administration needs.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify">As mentioned earlier, Warren is among the main enemies of crypto. He introduced the Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act in December and is now striving to increase support behind it by taking what he believes to be the right steps in the war environment.</p>
