After a false report of a spot ETF approval was made on social app X, formerly Twitter, the price of Bitcoin ( $BTC ) jumped from $27,900 to $30,000. This caused approximately $100 million in liquidations in the preceding hour.Nearly 30 minutes later, after receiving numerous comments and shares, the false report post was deleted. Since then, Bitcoin&#39;s value has dropped from $30,000 to $28,000 due to widespread distrust among industry experts and media outlets.There does not appear to be any spot bitcoin ETF approvals on the SEC website.
