Popular altcoin <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/xrp-price-analysis-key-support-and-resistance-levels-to-watch/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP</a> continues to attract investors’ attention with high-value transfer transactions. Whale Alert recently announced two large XRP transfers with a total value of approximately $52 million. At the same time, the ongoing activity of similar transfers in the XRP world indicates a high interest in XRP despite uncertain market conditions.

With recent transactions, <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/opera-launches-stablecoin-wallet-for-users-in-africa/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Blockchain</a> company <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/ripples-cto-addresses-the-turbulent-ledger-issue-are-assets-safe/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ripple</a> carried a significant amount of XRP with two important transfers. These transactions have led to speculations about the company’s goals and its relationship with cryptocurrency exchanges.

In the first transfer, 75 million XRP worth approximately $36.9 million was sent from Ripple to an undisclosed wallet address. This transfer has led to speculations that the mysterious wallet address may be related to the company. When a company intends to sell some of the altcoins it owns, it usually moves the altcoins to an internal wallet address first and then transfers them to a cryptocurrency exchange.
The second XRP transfer involved approximately 30 million XRP worth $14.9 million being used for fast cross-border fund transfers from an unknown wallet address to Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) platforms and also transferred to the cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp.
The transfer of XRP to Bitstamp indicates that these transactions were carried out with the aim of providing a significant amount of XRP for ODL operations through the Bitstamp exchange. Ripple’s strategic use of XRP in payment solutions demonstrates its active role in facilitating effective global money transfers and cross-border transactions.
After experiencing a slight decrease on the first trading day of the week, XRP is currently trading at $0.491, representing a 0.46% decrease. XRP’s trading volume in the past 24 hours has increased by 83.39% to $1.02 billion.
The cryptocurrency market has recently shown high volatility, and almost all major altcoins remained in the downward zone last week. During this period, XRP lost 1.44% of its value.
