<p>Kaspa, the up-and-coming cryptocurrency project, has a major contributor who is highly regarded among other top cryptocurrency leaders, according to crypto analyst Jim.</p>
<p>Jim <a href="https://twitter.com/Cryptographur/status/1712868420092411909?t=2tHLZHO-ROQe7PXb--NmfQ&amp;s=19" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">points out</a> that Yonatan Sompolinsky, a significant contributor to Kaspa, has received praise from both Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum (ETH) and Charles Hoskinson of Cardano (ADA). Yonatan is also cited in the Ripple (XRP) whitepaper.</p>
<p>This demonstrates the high esteem for Sompolinsky in the cryptocurrency space. As Jim notes, Sompolinsky’s previous work on “Ghost Protocol” has inspired much of what we see today in major crypto projects inside the top 10 and top 30 by market capitalization.</p>

<p>By having such an influential contributor, Kaspa is well-positioned among other leading crypto networks. Jim believes this will drive more publicity to Kaspa, especially as the project continues to innovate.</p>
<p>Kaspa is set to upgrade its blockchain from 1 block per second to 10 blocks per second. This will increase Kaspa’s transaction speed tenfold from its already industry-leading 1 block per second.</p>
<p>Jim argues that with praise from Ethereum and Cardano leaders, plus its own impressive tech contributions, Kaspa has strong potential for growth and mainstream adoption going forward. The involvement of prominent crypto developers like Sompolinsky speaks to Kaspa’s credibility.</p>
<p>While Kaspa remains lesser known for now compared to the top 10 projects, Jim believes its technical merits and contributor pedigree could elevate it to the upper echelon of cryptocurrencies. He cites “like attracts like” and argues Kaspa should be valued highly given Sompolinsky’s central role and the validation from other top crypto creators.</p>
