<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/v-singapure-projdet-blockchain-fest-2023-2/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Singapore</a>'s <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitdeer-pioneers-crypto-mining-expansion-with-norway-and-bhutan-data-centers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitdeer</a> Technologies Group has unveiled staggering September 2023 figures. The firm mined 482 Bitcoins, nearly three times the amount from a year ago. Interestingly, the Gedu mining data center in Bhutan was a star performer, contributing 217 Bitcoins or about 45% of September's total, according to <a href="https://cryptoslate.com/bitdeer-grows-bitcoin-production-by-195-yoy-with-a-35-september-increase-in-btc-mined/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptoslate</a>.
This mining spike is largely due to <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitdeer-pioneers-crypto-mining-expansion-with-norway-and-bhutan-data-centers/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitdeer</a>'s sharp business focus, the efficiency of its operations, and the smooth running of the new Gedu center. Bitdeer's CEO, Linghui Kong, praised the company's strong operational tactics, which led to a 25.8% rise in Bitcoin mining from August.
Kong credits the firm's consistent electrical capacity of 895MW for their <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/riot-battles-texas-heat-to-produce-410-btc-and-stabilize-energy-grid/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">self-mining</a> triumphs. He's optimistic about Bitdeer's strategic approach, foreseeing it as a significant value driver for shareholders.
Bitdeer operates in three key areas: <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hash Rate</a> Sharing, <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-mining-reshaping-landscape-amid-global-interest-surge/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hosting</a>, and their primary <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/riot-battles-texas-heat-to-produce-410-btc-and-stabilize-energy-grid/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">self-mining</a> business. As of September 30, the total managed <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hash rate</a> stood at 21.2 EH/s, with 8.7 EH/s being proprietary. The company oversees 221,000 mining machines.
But Bitdeer isn't stopping there. They're building a 175MW immersion cooling data center in Tydal, Norway, set for completion in 2025. This initiative underscores Bitdeer's dedication to enhancing its infrastructure.
