<p>While ultra-fast 1 second block times have ignited interest in Kaspa (KAS), traders like <a href="https://x.com/Cryptographur/status/1709155758821036438?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Cryptographur</a> argue speed alone doesn’t fully capture its investment appeal. The network’s fair launch and scaling roadmap around smart contracts also make it compelling.</p> 
<p>Unlike many crypto projects rushed to market, Kaspa prioritized fair distribution through 18 months of CPU/GPU mining before ASICs could dominate. This allowed ordinary miners to acquire a decent share of the rapid 4-year supply emission schedule.</p> 
<p>With no premine or ICO, the wide circulation helped drive an active community – now further energized by Kaspa’s focus on scaling without compromising decentralization.</p> 
<p>As a Bitcoin spin-off, Kaspa retains a similar security model but with optimizations like ghostDAG to achieve Visa-like throughput. With smart contracts slated for release soon, Kaspa aims to become a fully scalable, decentralized economy.</p> 
<p>Some speculate this combination of security, scalability, and fair distribution may have solved crypto’s impossible trilemma. While time will vet those claims, Kaspa does appear to meaningfully push scaling boundaries.</p> 
<p>Rising network hashrate also underscores growing engagement around the project. Kaspa recently hit new all-time high mining power, nearing 40 PH/s.</p> 
<p>Of course, execution risks remain around rolling out smart contracts smoothly. But Kaspa’s blend of technical merits and community ethos make it intriguing as both a scalable currency and potential smart contract platform.</p> 
<p>With a current sub-$100M market cap, speculative traders see an asymmetric risk-reward in gaining exposure now before widespread recognition. Savvy investors know identifying overlooked gems early means profiting before confirmation of success.</p>
