Despite having signed a letter of intent earlier, San Francisco-based blockchain company, Ripple Labs Inc recently announced that it will not proceed with its planned acquisition of Fortress Trust. 
Ripple CEO <a href="https://twitter.com/bgarlinghouse/status/1707455045942292954?s=20">Brad Garlinghouse made this revelation through a tweet, stating</a>, “A few weeks ago, we signed a letter of intent to acquire Fortress Trust – we’ve since made the decision not to move forward with an outright acquisition, though Ripple will remain an investor in Fortress.”
