<p>The analytics platform Kaiko announced on X that one of Binance’s hot wallets briefly took the lead as the highest consumer of gas on the <a href="https://coinedition.com/tag/ethereum-eth/">Ethereum (ETH)</a> network. Binance attributed this surge in gas consumption to its efforts to consolidate ETH balances.</p>
